I am Zaide Montes, from Colombia. I hold a MSc in Biological Science from Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá, Colombia. During my master’s project, I developed a bioinformatics workflow that enables the prediction of insect olfactory proteins from genomic data. Currently, I am a Doctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Center next Generation Insect Chemical Ecology (nGICE) under the supervision of Dr. Christer Löfstedt (LU), Dr. Dan-Dan Zhang (LU), Dr. Martin N. Andersson (LU) and Dr. Rickard Ignell (SLU) The title of my project is:
