Dr. Gabriela Caballero Vidal

I am Gabriela Caballero Vidal from Paraguay. I obtained my PhD in Chemical Ecology at the INRAE of Versailles, and the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Sciences of Paris (IEES), France. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Center next Generation Insect Chemical Ecology (nGICE) and based at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) in Alnarp, Sweden. My project is supervised by Dr. Rickard Ignell (SLU Alnarp), Dr. Sharon Hill (SLU Alnarp) and Dr. Mats Sandgren (SLU Uppsala). During my postdoc, I will perform a large-scale functional characterization of mosquito odorant receptors and study their evolution in the context of structure. The long-term goal is to explore the structural characteristics of some target mosquito odorant receptors in the project:
